I love this app and have found it useful for many quick conversions. There are dedicated devices for performing more intricate, involved recipe calculations -- and I recommend including some of the suggestions mentioned in some of the other reviews in future releases of this app. For the simple types of calcs I do, this app works wonderfully and I recommend it strongly.

I bought a culinary school recipe book . I trying to figure out how to make a pumpkin bread recipe. Recipe book says 2lb/907g. Didnt say how many measure cup. I trying to use calculator. I cant figure it out. I got culinary school book last week. I really want to go culinary school and I want to be a chef.

Very easy to use when Im making recipes and recipe conversions in my gluten free baking.

I cant run the kitchen without it! And it gives me other equivalent measurements in the office. LOVE this app!

Difficult to understand how to operate the app. Unabke to convert small recipes to large recipes. Over 150 portions.

Accuracy and ease of use makes the app handy in the kitchen.

So quick & Easy! I always see large recipes for more than 2 servings, I normally only want 2. Found an awesome yeast bread recipe that made 3 loaves (using a whopping 8 cups flour) now I will bake it for 2 loaves. Love this tool on my iPad that I keep in the kitchen. Worth every penny for the app. This will save me SO much time-I bake a lot! JB

Have you ever found yourself in this situation: you have a great recipe, but it calls for the wrong number of people and youre going crazy trying to figure out the right amounts of ingredients to fit a particular number of servings. Or the recipe calls for units youre not particularly familiar with and you would like to use those units of measurements that work for you? Well now you can, with Kitchen Calculator Pro! It quickly scales recipes to the amounts you want, also using standard cooking fractions, and converts all kinds of units, including weight to volume! Did I mention that theres already a list of ingredients to select from and convert to the desired unit, and if the ingredient is not there you can add it? Ive had experience with various converting apps, but this is by FAR the most POWERFUL and EFFICIENT app Ive come across! The developers name is Forward Leap. The name fits the app!!!

I convert recipes from volume to weight quite frequently and save those conversions alongside the original amount in my recipe app (I use Paprika). I compared several of my conversions, which were done by scouring cookbooks and nutritional databases, and found this app dead on for just about everything. The one change I would like to see is a way to check multiple ingredients with the same settings. In other words, if Im converting a recipe, I dont want to have to keep selecting volume=cup, weight=grams, then choose the ingredient. Let me keep cups and grams selected and just change the ingredient.

Weighing now instead of measuring, easier and less dishes

Great app! Does what I need it to do. Was worth every penny! Thank you for creating this app, especially with the grams, fluid ounces, etc., out there when were trying to follow a recipe that requires a cup but says nothing about fluid ounces!

This app is so handy that Ive decided to write my first review (and Ive had an iPhone since 2007). This app is super functional and allows you to convert any kitchen unit you can imagine with great ease. It even lets you specify the ingredient for most accuracy. A+!!!

Very helpful tool

I really like the interface and functionality of this app. Will be extremely useful in my work as a catering chef. A couple of suggestions for future versions that would make this the ultimate solution. A built in timer so i dont have to leave the app for that, and a recipe scaling feature for easier conversions i.e - I input the parameters such as "serves 2 into serves 6" and as I enter amounts they are scaled automatically. A marvellous tool, thanks much!

I use it all the time for various measurement conversions and changing the number of people in recipes. It is easy to use, excellent in function, and accurate.

Deleting this app ASAP! I wanted an app to scale recipes...I found this one totally useless. It is not intuitive. I expected it to give me the new measurements for each ingredient, after entering the number servings and ingredients ...but all it gives is the fraction...I can do that with a regular FREE calculator. Furthermore...eggs are measured as eggs, not cups, teaspoons, or gallons!

My unofficial name here in Germany is "the cookie goddess" and this app is absolutely crucial! Must have if you want to convert all of those delish Pinterest recipes!
